Review of Grandeur Of The Seas cruise ship of Royal Caribbean International scored 5 out of 5 by kenlyle1 on 8/27/2009 12:50:08 PM. kenlyle1 said We love the Grandeur! We've cruised it twice now, and know it like our second home.
The center Atrium, with all of the marble is beautiful.
The Windjammer restaurant seems to always be open, and serves a good variety of interesting and tasty food.
The gym is fully adequate, the climbing wall is fun, and the running track on deck 9 is just the right size.
We've even found the entertainment to be first rate...Chinese acrobats, championship jugglers, funny comedians.
We cruised the Norwegian Pearl when it was only 6 weeks old- tried the bowling alley- big deal.
The Grandeur is our favorite "resort". 5 out of 5 stars" about Grandeur Of The Seas. The dining experience on this cruise: "Since we are vegan, we like the Windjammer, because there are always fruits and vegetables, and meatless cooked dishes. It's like a food court, but of high quality restaurants. 5 stars"; as for the onboard entertainment: "Incredible the first time, good the second time we cruised. 4 stars"; the stateroom onboard Grandeur Of The Seas: was "Who cares? The room is for two things. One is sleeping....and the other....do I have to spell it out for you? I guess the main thing is that the ventilation is good, because otherwise, things could get stale. Fully adequate, well designed, good use of space. 4 stars"; the Royal Caribbean International shipboard staff was "These people have drunk the Kool-aid. They seem motivated to serve and to please. 5 stars"; and the onboard programs were "Fun and sometimes educational-the nutrition and fitness talks in the gym. Disco night, bellyflop, the usual...otherwise. 4 stars".
