We were on board for 2 weeks and dined in almost all of the speciality restaurants. The chef in the Teppenyaki Restaurant put on a good show and we had excellent shrimp, scallops and filet prepared exactly to our requests. 4 stars"; as for the onboard entertainment: "Some of the best shows at Sea that I have ever seen. Blue Man Group was incredible and the performers in Legends in Concert did a fantastic job. 5 stars"; the stateroom onboard Norwegian Epic: was "The size of our cabin was good (we happened to be in a handicaped cabin) which increases the size and layout of the cabin slightly and also increases the size of the balcony. Nothing special about the cabin. It was not being kept clean (dust everywhere) and this is a four month old ship. 3 stars"; the Norwegian Cruise Line shipboard staff was "Disappointed in the overall service aboard this ship. If you were paying extra for something then the service was excellent. (Speciality restaurants, bar service, etc.) 2 stars"; and the onboard programs were "Surprised by the cost to play bingo $40...ouch. Casino was great, very large. 3 stars".
Overall Ship Experience
Overall the ship has so many things to do that you can almost ignore the poor service in some areas of the ship. This ship has bowling, water slides, climbing walls, a full basketball court and lots for the kids and adults to do.
Dining Experience
The dining experience in the Speciality Resaurants was superior, however in the all inclusive resaurants, I can only say adequate. We were on board for 2 weeks and dined in almost all of the speciality restaurants. The chef in the Teppenyaki Restaurant put on a good show and we had excellent shrimp, scallops and filet prepared exactly to our requests.
Onboard Entertainment
Some of the best shows at Sea that I have ever seen. Blue Man Group was incredible and the performers in Legends in Concert did a fantastic job.
Stateroom
The size of our cabin was good (we happened to be in a handicaped cabin) which increases the size and layout of the cabin slightly and also increases the size of the balcony. Nothing special about the cabin. It was not being kept clean (dust everywhere) and this is a four month old ship.
Shipboard Staff
Disappointed in the overall service aboard this ship. If you were paying extra for something then the service was excellent. (Speciality restaurants, bar service, etc.)
Onboard Programs
Surprised by the cost to play bingo $40...ouch. Casino was great, very large.
