Review of Carnival Miracle cruise ship of Carnival Cruise Lines scored 3 out of 5 by thumbelina7046 on 9/18/2010 11:35:52 PM. thumbelina7046 said I gave it 3 out of 5 stars. Overall , it was a really good cruise. Overbooked (too many people) . I am disabled and use a scooter, it was hard to maneuver my scooter throughout the ship with that many people. Too many people in the pool. We went to the Bahamas, Grand Turks. It wasn't very handicapped accessible (the ports) and only one excursion was handicapped accessible (out of quite a few). 3 out of 5 stars" about Carnival Miracle. The dining experience on this cruise: "The food was ok. Not bad, but not GREAT either. We ordered The Ceaser Salad on a couple of occassions, and found everytime we had it , that it had no flavor what so ever. The soups were ok. The Lobster was rather small. Some nights it took a long time to receive our meal. (Probably due to the fact that there were a lot of people on board.) I found the meals to be ok. 2 stars"; as for the onboard entertainment: "the entertainment was the thing I enjoyed most. every night there was a fabulous show. Two nights we had comedians. One night we had a lady impersonator (OMG! Was she awesome). One night there was a gentleman who put on a show where he sang Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr. (He was so good he could have been on Broadway). Then one night they did a tribute to the Beatles (that was really GREAT!) Every night the shows were above average. A+++++ 5 stars"; the stateroom onboard Carnival Miracle: was "When we booked it showed two Queen size beds. When we got there it was One Queen size bed and a "couch" for one person. I also asked for a disabled cabin and was told that there were none available (we booked well in advance of the cruise.) 3 stars"; the Carnival Cruise Lines shipboard staff was "I had to park my scooter outside the room because I didn't get a disabled cabin, my scooter won't fit through a regular statroom doorway (we requested one well in advance) . During the middle of the night, two drunk passengers came and moved my scooter to the other side of the ship. My cabin attendant knew it was mine when he saw it and brought it back around to my cabin, where it belonged. Anything I needed he was more than happy to help me with. 5 stars"; and the onboard programs were "They didn't have a lot of activities, and what they did have, they didn't advertise very well. Everyday at 3pm they had High Tea. And you wouldn't even know it was there unless you were searching it out. And it is something that should be taken in on a cruise ship , you wouldn't believe it, but, it is a enjoyable experience. They had a casino slots tournament everyday, you wouldn't know that was being offered unless you were seeking it out. They should be advertising their activities on the loudspeaker throughout the course of the cruise. 3 stars".
