Review of Carnival Glory cruise ship of Carnival Cruise Lines scored 5 out of 5 by schoepeo on 9/29/2010 11:20:55 AM. schoepeo said I love to meet new people, so going on a cruise by myself is always an adventure. I love to get to know those I eat dinner with every night and I really enjoy wandering around the ship to discover every nook and cranny. Not to mention the events that take place on board. Dancing, dinner, music, theatrical, comedy, etc. While at the various ports I always step off the ship without a clue as to what I might do. I wander aimlessly and get lost in the culture and my surroundings. Not the safest thing to do but that's what I prefer and knowing that a giant (read: easily visible) cruise ship is awaiting my return gives me a sense of security in my adventures. Cruises are one of the most affordable vacations out there so I encourage everyone to think of a cruise next time you want a vacation. 5 out of 5 stars" about Carnival Glory. The dining experience on this cruise: "Any food you could dream of is served on board the ship in one of the many dining locations. In the formal dining setting, you sit with other guests that you may or may not know. They will become your surrogate family in no time. 5 stars"; as for the onboard entertainment: "While the entertainment is generally watered down for the sake of different guests' tastes, it is still *ahem* entertaining. I really love the live music and could watch the piano player all day long. Activities and the occasional contest take place at the pools and other casual areas. If you are into gambling, there is always the bustling casino where you can try your luck at blackjack or craps. 4 stars"; the stateroom onboard Carnival Glory: was "With a great view all the time from my balcony, I can't imagine a better way to "sail" about the world. The staterooms are well appointed but not overly done. The luxury accommodations may be too much for me as I don't go on a cruise to hang out in my room all day or night. 4 stars"; the Carnival Cruise Lines shipboard staff was "Very friendly and very helpful. It is easy to get lost on a ship of this size, but the staff members are always willing to direct you. 5 stars"; and the onboard programs were "I didn't get to participate in all of the programs that I would have liked because time just doesn't allow. However, there are a wide variety of programs to choose from. Something to suit all tastes and needs (daycare anyone?). 4 stars".

Dining Experience
Any food you could dream of is served on board the ship in one of the many dining locations. In the formal dining setting, you sit with other guests that you may or may not know. They will become your surrogate family in no time.
Onboard Entertainment
While the entertainment is generally watered down for the sake of different guests' tastes, it is still *ahem* entertaining. Stateroom
With a great view all the time from my balcony, I can't imagine a better way to "sail" about the world. The staterooms are well appointed but not overly done. The luxury accommodations may be too much for me as I don't go on a cruise to hang out in my room all day or night.
Shipboard Staff
Very friendly and very helpful. It is easy to get lost on a ship of this size, but the staff members are always willing to direct you.
Onboard Programs
I didn't get to participate in all of the programs that I would have liked because time just doesn't allow. However, there are a wide variety of programs to choose from. Something to suit all tastes and needs (daycare anyone?).
