Where to Begin? Find Yourself Overwhelmed by Cruise Choices? Help is here!

I think booking a cruise (or any type of vacation for that matter) can be a little overwhelming today.

Here are some tips to keep the confusion down–

The first thing I recommend is narrow down your choices with a few key questions.

What time of year are you traveling? What destination would you like to cruise to–Alaska, Caribbean, Mediterranean? Are you able to fly to a cruise port, or will you be driving? Who will be traveling with you-friends, children, seniors?

Once you have answered these questions, you are closer to a decision on the best ship and itinerary for you.

Now, all you have to do is book your dream vacation!

  • Just visit our site, www.cruisenow.com, to begin your search.  Once there you will see the search box, Find Your Perfect Cruise. You can do this general search, or click on Advanced Search which will be helpful in narrowing down your results. Choose as little or many options as you’d like–cruise line, cruise length, destination, or month and year.
  • This will bring up all of the cruises that fall within your criteria selected.  The prices you see on this page are the starting prices per person based on a double occupancy. Those rates do not include all of the taxes. To view current availability just click on Check Availability.  Here you will select the number of passengers for your cabin.  Also, be sure to enter the state you reside in, as there could be a resident rate for that particular state.  There may also be a senior rate, so be sure to check that box if there is anyone sailing over age 55.
  • The next step is probably the most important step in your booking process. This is where you need to decide what type of cabin will be best–interior, ocean view or balcony. We have a great go-to guide for you, How to Choose the Perfect Cabin. When you see the different categories, usually a combination of letters or numbers, it is just a key to where your cabin will be located on the ship.  You can look at the deck plan of that ship by clicking on the deck number or name.  After you have decided on the cabin you are now ready to confirm your cruise in just a few clicks!
  • TIP: One of the most important things to remember when booking your cruise is to have the LEGAL first and last names as they appear on the passports for each passenger, along with dates of birth.  Please remember that if your name is Chris, but your legal name is Christopher or Christina, that is what you need to enter when completing your reservation.
  • At any time during the booking process you have questions, would like to check on the possibility of a lower rate or just would appreciate personalized service (remember, no extra charge for our service and expertise!) feel free to give us a call [800.243.1959] or email us and we would love to help.

Your cruise vacation is only a few clicks (or a phone call) away! Now, if only packing were that easy…
