Reminiscing about traveling to Barcelona makes me wonder – do you have a favorite city? Being in the travel business for more than 20 years, I have visited some pretty incredible places and have had the great fortune of seeing many cultures and the treasures of their past and present civilizations. While I have many places that I absolutely love and eagerly await a return engagement, my favorite is traveling to Barcelona, Spain. Funny thing, it’s not even close when it comes to a second favorite. I am not exactly sure what it is about Barcelona, but it is magical to me. I feel alive there like no other city. It does something to me I cannot explain. Kind of like when you were an adolescent and you met someone you couldn’t stop thinking about. Only this is better. Barcelona will never say no to my declarations of love!
